I've been intrigued by this approach to memory keeping for a couple months now, and with the new year approaching I've decided to jump feet first into Project Life. I haven't created a layout in over a year, but I'm hoping this no fuss philosophy will rekindle my love of storytelling. I'm excited to mix photos, memorabilia and words to create a simple but meaningful record of our daily life. Here's what I ordered today...
(I'm also planning to order the black Signature album and the dividers when they become available. And I have to find a good journaling pen.)
I'm kinda nervous but mostly excited to commit to this project. My plan is to share my weekly spreads here. Is anyone else doing Project Life? Do you have any tips or advice for me? I'd love to hear!

No. But Im attempting her 365 album again. This will be my 4th attempt, lol.

I'm starting PL too! I'm excited to get started with it, but also nervous. I have gotten sooo lazy about taking pictures, so I hope I can fill up a two page spread! Guess that's part of the appeal...if I don't quite make it, just add more embellishment or patterned paper to fill up the spots. I'll be sharing my pages on my blog too, and look forward to stopping by here to see yours!
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of it but can't wait to see your creations from it.
ReplyDeleteOk. I just watched the video and I think my older sister would LOVE this! We have her for Christmas next year so I'm feeling like this would be perfect. Thanks for helping me get a jump start on next year's Christmas!!! :)
ReplyDeleteLove Love Love Project Life. I ordered mine last year at this time and my scrapbook is 100% up to date. My kids love looking at it.
ReplyDeleteLove Project Life. This will be my 3rd year. The first year I did picture-of-the-day (POTD).
ReplyDeleteThis past year I changed it up a little and went with a week-in-review and incorporated a lot more "things"..ticket stubs, bills, grocery lists, drawings, pressed flowers, etc. Not sure how I will do 2012.

I'm starting this year too!!! Can't wait!!
ReplyDeleteHi Beth,Pat Rex here(former owner of Scrapbooking Moments In Time, NJ) I am completing my third year of Project Life. I love it. It is my own personal photographic diary of the year. If I want to do a 12x12 layout, I just add it in. You can easily add 81/2x11 pages too.You can be as simple or embellished as you want. Good luck with it and I look forward to following your progress.
ReplyDeleteI purchased a kit last year and never got past setting it up. Life happened and I didn't pick up a camera to record it. I am planning on breaking it back out and completing it this year. I am not sure if I will take a POTD, week in review or a 12 on 12 type approach. I haven't done anything scrapbook related in a couple of years now and taking pictures seems as nonexistent so I am hoping to change all that with the help of Project Life!
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to seeing what you come up with using this!
ReplyDeleteOh good! I am too and can't wait to see what you will do.
