on the nightstand...

First let me say that I really liked The Murderer's Daughters. While the story is heartbreakingly sad, it grabbed my attention from the get go and didn't let up until I finished. Not overly suspenseful, it's a story of survival, hope and love. Check it out.

  1. "The Rules of Civility" by Amor Towles. It takes place in the 30's. Such a great story, with wonderful characters!
