on the nightstand...

I haven't read a Grisham book in a loooong time, but I recently read (I think in Entertainment Weekly) that this latest novel is a throwback to his earlier books (which I loved), so I thought I'd give it a shot.

And I wouldn't recommend The Adults. I usually love coming of age novels but this one was too dark for me, definitely not a favorite.

I love hearing your recommendations. I've added a couple books to my nightstand pile thanks to you, so keep them coming!

  1. You may have already read these, but if not you should:
A Brave New World, Fahrenheit 451, 1984 (this is what I am reading), The Giver, and Gathering Blue

  2. I was not a fan of The Adults either. I found it to read like a young adult novel( which is great, if that is your audience, and very choppy, but the content was no where near young adult content.
